Pixsplat
A GPU-Powered Pixel Graphics Editor
Pixsplat is a powerful tool designed for creating and editing pixel graphics and animations, offering both web and desktop experiences. The product consists of two main components: a web-based module powered by WebGPU, and a native desktop module that enhances performance and usability.
The web version is completely free to use, allowing you to work directly in your browser with hardware-accelerated texture editing through WebGPU. Even though it's still under active development with a long road ahead, you can start experimenting with the alpha releases right now and witness its evolution.
For users looking to support the project and gain extra functionality, the downloadable desktop version is available at an affordable price, offering native features for Windows, macOS, and Linux. This version gives enthusiasts a more robust experience while helping to support Pixsplat's ongoing development.
Whether you're a pixel artist or an animator, Pixsplat provides an accessible, efficient platform for your creative projects.
Before You Buy
Pixsplat is currently in its alpha stage, which means that while it offers a lot of features, it’s still in active development with many improvements and updates on the way. I encourage you to try the web version first, completely free, before deciding to purchase the desktop version.
Try the web version today for free at Pixsplat Web App.
This will give you a great idea of how the software works and help you decide if the extra features of the desktop version are right for you. The desktop version provides additional export formats and enhanced functionality not available on the web version.
If you encounter any issues, have questions, or would like to provide feedback on how Pixsplat can improve, I invite you to join our community on Discord. Your feedback is incredibly valuable, and being part of the community helps shape the future of Pixsplat!
